* Players may choose their own partner for any two-man event. However your partner needs to be a member of the Bear Dance Men’s Club and their handicap must be within 8 strokes of your handicap. Players with handicap differences greater than 8 strokes may choose to play together, however the higher handicap of the two will be adjusted downward to be 8 strokes greater than the lower handicap (i.e., a 6 course handicap paired with an 18 course handicap would become a 6 and a 14). Those wishing to play but do not have a partner will be randomly assign a partner meeting handicap requirements.

• Yearly Membership Fee - $280
  
  · This fee includes GHIN number, eight tournament prize funds, eight day advanced tee time reservations, 15% discount off of all greens fees any time you play at Bear Dance and a 10% discount on in stock golf shop merchandise.
• No Initiation Fees.
• Referral bonuses for existing members who refer new members.
• Weekend Tournament Green Fees are only $93, which includes golf car, practice balls, and GPS.
• Opportunity to play in a season long Match Play Tournament.
• Opportunity to play in a home and home Ryder Cup Style tournament with the Eisenhower Golf Club Men’s Club from the Air Force Academy.
• Opportunity to play in optional tournament side games such as closest to the pin, skins, and low gross/low net.
• There are eight tournaments during the season with formats such as individual stroke play, a Individual Stableford system, and a couple of 2 Man Best Ball events. Points can be accumulated for each event (including Match Play). The player with the most points at the end of the season will win the honor of “Player of the Year”. With this title you are entitled to a FREE MEMBERSHIP at Bear Dance, Monday thru Thursday, for one year. That includes all men’s club events the following year! This is a value of over $3400!
• Play competitive golf at the premier public golf course in Colorado.
• Tournaments are on Saturdays and Sundays from May thru early August.
• There are large payouts in golf shop credit for winners of each event. We cater to ALL ability levels, allowing everyone a chance to enjoy competitive golf and the opportunity to win golf shop credit. Golf shop payouts were close to $25,000 in 2007! (Credits can ONLY be used for merchandise in the golf shop. All credit must be used by the end of the calendar year. )

Flighting & Payout Procedures

All players will be broken into multiple flights based on the number of entries playing from the white and blue tees.

A Black Flight (playing from the black tees) will be established once we have at least 12 players or more with course handicaps of 8 or less.

The rest of the flights will be broken down as follows:

• 1-59 players equals 2 flights
• 60-79 players equals 3 flights
• 80-99 players equals 4 flights
• 100-119 players equals 5 flights

Payouts & Points

Places will be determined by number of players in each flight. 25% of each flight will be awarded winnings.

• Blue & White Flights:
  3 Places = 1 Gross & 2 Net
  4 Places = 1 Gross & 3 Net
  5 Places = 2 Gross & 3 Net
  6 Places = 2 Gross & 4 Net
  7 Places = 2 Gross & 5 Net
  
• For Black Flight:
  3 Places = 2 Gross & 1 Net
  4 Places = 3 Gross & 1 Net
  5 Places = 3 Gross & 2 Net
  6 Places = 4 Gross & 2 Net
  7 Places = 5 Gross & 2 Net
